Sunflowers 🌻

I love sunflowers and I love crochet, so I decided to put the two together!

I’ve crocheted a sunflower hair clip, glued it on to a leather strap (I used my special hole puncher to create a hole at either end of the strap), then scraped the bark off a piece of dried apple wood from my garden, carefully waxed and polished it and voila!

I crocheted this cute sunflower brooch to hold wraps and scarves in place...

And a sunflower wreath...

The little bee was quite fiddly to get right - my first and second attempts were unravelled as I wasn’t happy with either of them, but third time lucky! Typically, I didn’t write the pattern down as I was crocheting him, so fingers crossed I’ll be able to remember when I make another. Happy crafting!
