Now that you have your scraps, consider whether you want to create a blanket by making individual squares that will be put together, or working back and forth on one piece. As you can see from the photo below, I've decided on squares as they're fairly simple and super quick to make.

My blanket made using a 6mm hook and double thickness yarn - doubling the yarn creates a chunky effect and it crochets up incredibly quickly!
