It’s been a month of needle felting! Wreaths are proving popular and it’s lovely when a customer has their own design ideas for me to incorporate into their wreath. I tend to use a mix of Devon Closewool and Jacob for felting, all bought locally as raw fleece and processed in my back garden. So far I’ve created sheep, cows and collie sheepdogs...

I’m hoping to create some alternatives and have been sketching out some ideas in my notebook - I’m thinking dogs, cats, maybe a selection of farm animals?

In July, I‘m booked in at a lovely yarn shop in Ledbury to run a couple of needle felted bunting workshops and, fingers crossed, the local craft fair will be up and running again soon (I’ve heard talk of an October fair, so here’s hoping!).

Happy crafting!
